A few from my short line over the weekend. Let the neighbor kid tag along with me. I think he had more fun firing the traps when I pulled them Sunday than catching the critters. lol

All the reds I’ve have been out far away from any kind of farmland. Heck that picture with my wife and daughter, closest hayfield to that is nearly 20 miles away. I’ve been pretty surprised at some of the places I’ve caught them, I didn’t think they’d be bold enough to be so far from cover. I haven’t targeted them at all, they’ve just been bycatch in my coyote sets

Great pics!

Bob when I have run into reds while shooting in the west, including badlands, there is a rock rubble area or broken rock ridge/butte nearby. The foxes can get down into that to escape coyotes versus just clay/dirt gumbos or prairie where they can be dug out.

Bob, those shots are very clear , good lighting. Shows the depth and fluffiness of the fur well.

Good pics, everyone .

Rick the fox in your picture looks big enough to whip a coyote.
