If we are mark'd to die, we are enow
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires:
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England:
God's peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made
And crowns for convoy put into his purse:
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.'
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day...

They don't want us to fight, not physically, they want to box us into a corner. They're insidious and relentless.

i dont think there will be a fight if 10 million people refuse to comply. may have to break a few people out of jail, tar and feather a few politicians and atf thugs, a judge or prosecutor or three.. but i hope not

There are a couple of ways to fight. You can go look for it or you can let it come to you. I am letting this one come to me.

Until then, keep voting, keep sending money and keep stocking up.

I don't know Blaine... You're the lawyer. What are the chances we can rely on the courts for anything other than a limpwristed compromise?

I think if we are going to stand a chance at all it's going to come down to shooting. Hate to be pessimistic like that but I think the government is going to force that hand... "Some men you just can't reach. That's the way he wants it... Well, he gets it."

Hope to God I'm wrong.

Here in KS, other states too, we have a 2nd amendment protection act. It is a felony under KS law to enforce federal gun law. Who knows what our governor will do but the Attorney General and all but 2-3 of the sheriffs will not be arresting/prosecuting anybody.

The Feds (see Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc.) won't ask the local authorities for permission.

I've been saying it for years on T Man and I hope everyone is listening now: You cannot rely on the Courts to protect the 2A. I don't care if Trump appointed the Judges and Justices--I can almost guarantee you that 99% of them do not see the 2A the same way we do. They are the product of big cities, big law firms and fancy law schools. Obviously there are degrees of differences and political leanings, but I would not count on the Courts.

Scalia was an anomaly and cannot be replicated.

The federal hold till trial in Kansas City jail is in Leavenworth. Not at the big pen, a separate facility several miles south.

Mike I'm to that point too. I try my best to live peaceable among my fellow man but I'm about done with that.

I don't know if I would say useless, but not as useful as a real 2A advocate would prefer.

But some supposed 2A advocates suffer from a low expectation syndrome. I am not going off topic but we accomplished exactly zero over the last 4 years. In fact, we lost ground. Bump stocks, pistol braces, 80%'s, suppressor comments, due process comments and no useful legislation.

And anyone who says anything like "it was better than the alternative" is the poster child for low expectations.

The wall we should have been talking about were legislative walls protecting the 2A.

There won't be another republican held government. The goal of the democratic party is to control it all and make it a one party system: Theirs.
The way they will do this is to bring in hundreds of thousand immigrants, give them all free stuff so they will vote for them. 95% of the Muslims in our area support the democrats. The ones that run for office all run under the democratic flag.

And the Republican goal is NOT to control all of government? Give me a break. Both parties have the same ambition: to rule us.

Trump imposed a Muslim travel ban...and you wonder why most Muslim-Americans are Democrat. Hmm.

James, Muslims don't believe in Jesus
That's why they vote Democrat
Does that explain it better?

This is another reason the 2A is in jeopardy. "We" cannot stay focused.

What the _____ do Muslims have to do with the 2A discussion?

And, I realize that some of you want to shoot at them--but that is not the topic.
