It's a jurisdiction issue, Texas didn't have the authority to make sure Michigan follows it's own state laws, stop acting like they made a personal decision.

OK, so Ca entices illegal aliens to their state and gets more seats in Congress as a result when the census results show the population increase. Ca refuses to follow federal immigration laws and won't prosecute or deport illegals. This gives Ca a disproportionate allocation of federal funds for any program based on population and more power and influence to those flaunting federal Law. Ca also gets more electoral votes because the electoral college members from each state are 1 for each senator and 1 for each Representative. This essentially means illegals count as voters in a presidential election even if they can't vote. Texas should be OK with this because it's not happening in Texas??? Not in my opinion.

Colleges make millions of those players. Many don't get educations and are there just to play. They should get paid something or the system needs to be fixed. (Which will never happen).

System doesn't need fixed. College athletes ride for free. Price an out of state tuition.

You maybe right, They could stay home and the parents would not have to pay $30.000 to $40.000 dollars a year. JMO

It costs an out of state student $47,383 a year to go to Ohio State.

I was going to say same thing, what a waste of space they are, not sure why we even need them since we're no longer a nation of laws.

Graduate school in many ways is our new undergrad education of old.
As the undergrad education of old - was at one time - a continuing of the high school education preceding it.

Now, the HS education is failing to equip.
The undergrad has fostered millions to graduate with narry a clue.
And grad school enrollment is ever increasing.

As a nation, the lower grades education is filled with non-essentials, so that you have to spend about $250,000, and attend academia for a total of 20 years to learn a thing or two.
My poor grandkids may have to go to school until age 40 at this NEA rate.

Goodness.
A college education is not what it used to be because they don't teach what they used to teach most places.
Some still do

They should get paid whatever a free market decides.
