Not to hijack the other thread but I'm looking for a specific answer that I didnt see in the other.
For those that have had covid, how has your body changed in energy, pains, breathing, etc?
We have yet to get it, but two coworkers got it. One still complains of always being tired, aches. ...and the other one gets very dizzy and has to rest at times. Wonder if there will be long term affects with this virus.
A third coworker, his wife got it and he didn't even though he had to stay home from work(policy), but he never contracted the virus...maybe it's not as contagious as they say it is??

We are about 50 days out. Only thing that has stayed with me is a very sensitive smell of smoke. No other issues. I caught over a 100 mink in 36 days. You can't do that without some hard work.

I've had 5 relatives test positive for Covid-19. The only one who knew he had it, while he had it, is my great uncle Bill, who is 96. He appears to have recovered fully. My aunt Linda is in Koester Pavilion, a nursing home in Troy, Ohio, that had many of Ohio's very fist cases. Many people died there. She didn't find out she had Covid until they finally got around to testing all the residents, likely months after she had it. They then tested her daughter Mandy and granddaughter Brooklyn, and found out that they both had had it too. Mandy's husband never caught it. My cousin, Dylan, got tested before flying down to a job interview at a Texas zoo. He also had Covid and never knew he had it. His parents, who he lives with, were tested and were negative.
When most people don't even know that they had Covid, without being tested, there can't be many people having long term damage percentage wise.

Probably a ship load of people hoping to get on long term disability from it. They'll be limpin, hackin and popping pain pills until they get their first cheque.

I thought a Covid test, is for active covid at some stage of its infection. Determining if someone had covid months or weeks ago is done with a antibody test...I thought. Not sure honestly.

You are correct. There are instances of people testing positive for it 2 months after their initial positive test and being asymptomatic. I'm going to get the antibody test in February just to see if it shows up that I was positive.

Myself, my mother and wife all have it now. Tested positive Monday. My mom has stage 4 lung cancer and isn't having any more problems other than what she already had. My wife is pretty sick. She has high blood pressure and asthma. I worry about her having some long term effects. I haven' had any symptons. Prayers sent for you family and mother.

I'm going to get the antibody test in February just to see if it shows up that I was positive. And many covid diagnosis are by symptom only. No test given at all. My 2 employees that tested positive, the spouses got mild symptoms, and they were told they likely have covid. And to take the D3, zinc and vitamin C cocktail at 4 times the daily recommended dosage, along with typical flu and cough meds. Same as the spouse with the positive tests. After symptoms passed continue vitamins at normal dosage. That seems to be a common treatment for stay at home cases. Oh I forgot, local honey by the spoonful a few times a day to help with the persistent dry cough some get.

still a Loss of appetite and slight vision issues since being exposed. ITS BEEN a Few months out,. At first I noticed my vision was one of the first signs that alerted me something wasn't right, ,. Also can't smell as good as before, taste has been effective to a small degree. BE KIND TO OTHERS !! I hope your vision returns. I’ve always had an irrational fear of losing my vision. I’d rather lose an arm or a leg
