walleyed sent two Large Flat priority boxes of Raw Beaver skulls to Missouri on Pearl Harbor Day December 7th, 2020. They have been sitting in a warehouse ever since then less than 100 miles from their shipping destination. They're going to be awfully ripe for the Mail carrier that delivers them. Total incompetence. walleyed

I have a few packages that were mailed 11/30 with tracking that still haven't been delivered.
I have nothing clever to put here.

USPS Logo Hello Mr Clifton,
Your item arrived at the hub at 2:26 pm on December 20, 2020 in OTTAWA, KS 66067.
Tracking Number:
Expected Delivery On 21 Dec Had this this morning in my email. IF if it shows up it will have only been 4 times to get the delivery right. I guess 3 1/2 weeks to go 750 miles could have been worse. If its there, I can get the fishing pole finished up before Christmas. Barely.

I have usually had good luck with USPS . This year has been a real hoot though . We sent 7 packages to my Son in Goldsboro NC . They all got to the post office in Goldsboro on the 16th . Then one of the packages was shipped to San Jose Ca. It was then shipped back to Goldsboro . All 7packages are set for delivery today at 6:15 pm . The same day we shipped a package to London England . It went to four different locations in Chicago , then it went to Tokyo Japan ,then to another location in Japan .It is now on it way to England . I guess they must think there are election ballets in those packages .

I ordered an an AR500 IPSC gong weeks ago... Still hasnt arrived. Tracking just says "In Transit" I could have walked to the retailer, picked it up, and walked back by now.
I'm not even going to single out USPS for this type of garbage. It's all carriers. Ever since covid this type of thing is the norm instead of the exception. And when you ask about anything the go-to answer is covid restrictions, heavy volume, etc... It has become the fall back excuse for poor performance across the board.

Or maybe its a legitimate excuse. I've talked to a few postal workers and they are simply swamped with packages. Everyone is ordering on-line, obviously. UPS and FedEx use the USPS to deliver a lot of their stuff as well. You remember the term "going postal"? I about couldn't blame them these days.
