I've been waiting around two weeks also. I don't know who is the blame but I wouldn't rule out the IL DNR. They ain't exactly speedy. Temporary tag is good for now but I would like to sell some.

Our otter Tags can be picked up, free at any Licensed Dealer who Sells State Tags. We get 4, and 2 Fisher or marten tags also

The permanent tag we get at the end of season by taking Otter, Fisher, marten and Bobcats to a Warden check station. Usually only one day a year.

I hope your tags arrive soon!

Here you call your local warden and he comes and tags them for you.

walleyed sent two Large Flat priority boxes of Raw Beaver skulls
to Missouri on Pearl Harbor Day December 7th, 2020.

They have been sitting in a warehouse ever since then less
than 100 miles from their shipping destination.

They're going to be awfully ripe for the Mail carrier that delivers them.

Waiting for Otter tags in the mail ? I can trap as many of those worthless things I want , ($7 average at the last FHA auction) without having to have someone sending me tags. And many here are always telling us NY’ers how screwed up NY is. We do have to have them sealed after the catch, but have no limits on them.

I have a few packages that were mailed 11/30 with tracking that still haven't been delivered.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I had a box of mice that I purchased take 2 weeks to go 5 hours across NY. Post office was less than impressed when I refused to come get them because they were stinking up the place. Post master personally delivered them in his own truck. They were in 2 garbage bags and a plastic usps crate

Had this this morning in my email. IF if it shows up it will have only been 4 times to get the delivery right. I guess 3 1/2 weeks to go 750 miles could have been worse. If its there, I can get the fishing pole finished up before Christmas. Barely.

I've been waiting 2+ weeks for a USPS Priority shipment to go 207.9 miles door to door. It was only a 3 hour drive each way , I should have just went and got it.

I have usually had good luck with USPS . This year has been a real hoot though . We sent 7 packages to my Son in Goldsboro NC . They all got to the post office in Goldsboro on the 16th . Then one of the packages was shipped to San Jose Ca. It was then shipped back to Goldsboro . All 7packages are set for delivery today at 6:15 pm . The same day we shipped a package to London England . It went to four different locations in Chicago , then it went to Tokyo Japan ,then to another location in Japan .It is now on it way to England . I guess they must think there are election ballets in those packages .

I had a package that got lost in St Paul for a week and finally started moving again Saturday. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but I got an email at 7:30p that they attempted delivery but didn't have access to the destination. Not sure how that's possible, but it says they'll try again today. Maybe.

I sent a package recently to the wrong address. I didn't know the guy moved down the road and I didn't bother calling hm before I sent him a package. Was all my fault. Thankfully the local PO didn't reject the package for an address that no longer exists and the carrier knew who I was sending it to and took it to the correct address.

I ordered an an AR500 IPSC gong weeks ago... Still hasnt arrived. Tracking just says "In Transit" I could have walked to the retailer, picked it up, and walked back by now.

I'm not even going to single out USPS for this type of garbage. It's all carriers. Ever since covid this type of thing is the norm instead of the exception. And when you ask about anything the go-to answer is covid restrictions, heavy volume, etc... It has become the fall back excuse for poor performance across the board.

Or maybe its a legitimate excuse. I've talked to a few postal workers and they are simply swamped with packages. Everyone is ordering on-line, obviously. UPS and FedEx use the USPS to deliver a lot of their stuff as well. You remember the term "going postal"? I about couldn't blame them these days.
