Well, i guess ill get a cool zipper scar out of it. Had to drill 3 holes in bone for pins then attached the pec tendon and little caps on pins to hold the tendon to bone for repair. The local block anesthetic was awesome, stayed numb for long time today. General anesthetic too of course. Got to retell the tale again and seriously even the receptionist said this morning, oh you are the guy skinning coyotes! Must have been a fun story for them. Well, pain pills are good. But ive been drinking tons of water today, good amounts of veggies and fruits. Walked around my house a lot too to keep moving between naps. Had a little winter storm today so couldn't get out to walk a little. Maybe this weekend. Thanks all, what an awesome community of supportive trappers we have. You guys rock! Jim

lots of water and fruit is good but you may need stool softener also. have some one get you some in the morning , unless your doc said not to
if your on prescription narcotics they can really bind you up I sure wish my doc had told me that , the 3rd day on the pills I was , well it was very unpleasant and ever since any time I take 1 pain pill I chase it with 2 stool softeners never had a problem after that.
better safe than the alternative
I had back problems for several years

God speed on the healing. Do the PT like instructed. Hate to see you back in there for a redo.

All good! Just have one arm for 6 weeks and a cool zipper scar to impress the Mrs.with. this pic was taken in bathroom mirror it was right arm that was done and I am right handed. Now, the Mrs. Had her rotator cuff on her right shoulder done one week ago so between us only two good left arms us. Told the boys no Christmas this year because we don't have a pair of left handed scissors and can't cut wrapping paper. Boys thought that was a pretty lame excuse. Jim
