MB750, you will not need anything else. Sarge x2 The MB 750 has been plenty of trap for my needs.

750s are good traps....had over 2 dozen at one time. But the NoBS beaver trap is the cadillac of beaver footholds. I have 6 of em and they have every feature you could want in a beaver foothold. If I need more beaver traps it will be the NoBS's.

I caught beaver with the MB 750 until I tried the NO BS Beaver Extreme. My 750s are retired now, never use them anymore. If I am setting a foot hold for beaver, it is the NO BS Beaver Extreme. They are built like a tank, simple and do not require tinkering to keep consistent and hold whatever steps in them. And a big bonus.....I do not need setters for them either.

I've never owned the MB 750 but went with the NO BS Beaver trap because many who owned both said they preferred the NO BS. I'm very happy with them. I do like the wide levers on the NO BS, the free jaw, and can set easily without setters.

And a big bonus.....I do not need setters for them either. And we forgot this very important aspect of rhe NoBS beaver traps.........they come coated black....so no trap treatment needed.

You must have arms the size of Popeyes. I cant budge the levers by hand, and the levers barely move if i stand on them. You cant go wrong with either trap, but for me I need setters for both of them.
