Wife booked a trip to Wyoming, May 29th to June 4th. I know it's too early for river fishing due to run-off/ snow melt. I'm thinking of a lake trout charter on Yellowstone Lake. Any of you MT & WY guys have any suggestions or contacts for some lake fishing? PM me with your suggestions, I would appreciate your feedback. Next time I will target late summer

I would be surprised if there is a charter on the lake of any kind. By the end of May the streams should be fishable, light colored caddis in 14-18 are an old stand by. For the lake small gold spoons and Blue Fox Super Vibrax size 1 early and late. Lake Trout are an invasive in Yellowstone. Yellowstone cutthroat are the natives. Be sure and read the regulations CAREFULLY. Many areas are catch and release and or barbless artificial only. If you pack it in pack it out. Bear spray might be a good idea and the moose will have calves that time of year they can be very dangerous when protecting the babies. No firearms allowed in the park.

It's legal to carry in National Parks since February 22, 2010, just have to follow the state statutes of conceal and carry

Didn’t have a marina at the lake that I was aware of either. Circa 1990.
