I picked up a large accumulation of old traps. In it was 5 of these. Victor 0 single coils with double jaws. I can’t find any others anywhere. Any help is appreciated..

I think those are #1 size Diamond coil spring traps that originally had pans marked 31 Diamond which for some reason were all replaced with Victor 0 pans that were then cut down on the spring side.

It’s my understanding that Diamond stopped making traps in 1931. Were they bought out by Victor? Sorry for the lack of knowledge on my part, I’m learning.

Anyone else care to take a whack at this? I purchased a 31 Diamond for comparison. Not even close at least not to the one I purchased. Radius of the jaws is markedly different, as is the bend of the second jaws. Also all the traps in question have wire dogs whereas the Diamond is the standard type. Anyone?

Could you post a picture of your wire dog zero in the set position beside the set 31?

I am guessing a 2nd model or 3rd model Diamond 31 also. Wire levers with metal cap. Just cannot find anything yet about the wire dog.
