My boys caught their 2nd coyote of the season. My wife called and told me on my way home from work. When I got home it was in the back of the gator the first thing I noticed was it's right paw was missing from the dew claw down. It looked healed but I can't tell how fresh the injury is for sure. I am a bit surprised.

It's our 3rd catch in a mb 550 but first coyote so far in one. The other 2 were a bobcat and opossum.

Not big numbers but only have 2 sets in 4 places on the farm for k 9 and 5 or so for coons at the moment. If not for 70% of rain the next two days I'm off I would take them to set a few dozen more sets at a friends that's close enought my wife is ok driving them over and they get on their 4 wheeler make the checks while she waits. That's only ok for a few weeks and much better when I'm off work.

They really are getting into it again this year I'm glad

They got their 3rd one yesterday In the remake. She really tore it up.
I added a couple beaver remains to the dead pit. Maybe 5hey will have another one in the morning. Either way I have to skin that one in the morning . I'm glad it's been cold.

I can't wait tell next friday I'm off for a week and plan to put out everything we have for a few weeks. I really hope they nail a few more.
