Its gonna be just like a Nafa cheque. Mine will get direct deposited, so if I get it it’ll be in my hands in cash before they have a chance to rescind

My grandkids will be paying for this check. The stimulus is a drop in the bucket. Let’s get this straight, the covid relief bill is a 900 billion dollar bill covering paycheck protection, stimulus, and expanded unemployment. It is AtTACHED to the NORMAL 1.9 TRILLION dollars spending package, not the other way around. All the aid to Pakistan, Venezuela, all the other stuff folks are complaining about. That stuff is part of the regular spending bill, nothing to do with covid, would have been spent regardless. Most of you are confused about this. The foreign aid was NOT part of covid relief, it is what our government had planned on spending already, and has been for decades. A lot of what is called “ foreign aid” by critics are actually bills the government has run up and has to pay now. You should all dive into the spending package past face value. I’m not arguing for the spending, I hate it too, but educate yourselves on what it all actually is.

Maybe it'll be January b4 it deposits. That way we'll only have to pay taxes on that $1200 "stimulus" check this year.

Lets put it this way--you will not have to claim your stimulus checks as income, when you file your taxes. Tom

I feel much better now knowing that it’s 1.9 trillion that our children are indebted to China and not just 900 billion. I know what the bill is - a slimy greasy barrel of pork

They couldnt bring either of those two bills up on their own because they would of never get passed. And it was just before christmas and none of them up there will stick around to clean things up. Does anyone remember the last time congress passed all the appropriation bills on time as required?

By the time my Grandchildren are paying taxes, the debt will be 50-60 trillion rather than the petty $27 trillion we're sitting on today.

Yes it will The question is: Who will they be paying their taxes too... And will it be in U.S. dollars. It might be to China or Russia... That is if the Liberal Democrat Socialist Party has anything to do with it. Garry-

I think what they're going to do is send this $600 out that Trump already signed. Then if the republican senate allows a vote to take place and they approve the $2000, they'll send out $1400 checks to make up the difference. I believe you're right I think they need to get rid of all the pork both parties put in the bill. This package should be to help hurting Americans, nothing more. Not stupid handouts to foreign countries.
