Thanks Paul. I’ve been searching the inter web and prices are all over the map. Hopefully others will chime in and put a rough price. KBB , NADA , Galves black book etc will put a more real price in YOUR area than just a nationalized price. Regionally priced is very important. A 4wd/AWD is worth more in the snow belt than in an area with little/to no snow. Vehicles with really good gas mileage are worth more where gas is expensive. Areas that have cheaper fuel prices favor more powerful/less fuel efficient vehicles as more powerful vehicles are desired. Cities prefer smaller more nimble vehicles , easier to drive/park , lower taxation rates. Very regional pricing.

One like that here would bring at least $10,000. Crazy prices on all used trucks here. 10 years older and double the miles here still hang around the 7 to $8,000 range. Make sure like Warrior said check the frame. Right in front of the spring shackles is know spot it starts.

I bought a 4 cyl., 2 wd, 2003 w/ 180K for $4900 3 years ago off the side of the road... was asking $5400. No cap and good rubber... no dents, paint so-so, needs shocks. 20mpg local stop and go driving... expected better but can live w/ kit.

Here that truck would be listed at 10 K U.S.. I own a couple Tacoma's, and they really do hold their value. Like stated before, the only real issue with that generation Tacoma, and also 2nd. Gens, are the frames. Check very closely around the catalytic converters, as the heat will start to delaminate them there. That is how one of mine got replaced, just a 10mm. hole by the Cat,.that I had never even noticed when inspecting it. If you could get it for 10K Canadian I would think that's a good price, at least around us. Also, all of our Tacoma's go to Krown every year, the oldest are 2007,and 2010 models that get driven in the snow and salt , both frames could pass for new still.

I bought my 2005, v6, 4×4, manual 6 speed trans with 148,573 miles on it, four years ago for $11,000. Best vehicle I have ever owned. I'm actually sitting in it now..... I would trust driving this truck cross country, right now, as it is. Just starting to get broke in.
