jbyrd63 trapper J Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 13,111 Ky	Remington 12 gauge side by side , and 22 Winchester pump. Bought him self an Ithaca deer slayer afterwards. But those 2 guns killed everything he wanted to hunt. Wasn't any deer in this part of Ky then.

The guy had a special concrete room built in his basement with a heavy steel door(held shut with a screwdriver LOL). His taste was for ruger revolvers, trap/skeet O/Us, and lever guns like the ones at your friends. In the corner, there were more G Loomis fishing rods than I had ever seen at a sporting goods store. My grandpa and dad all had the same collection. a .22 and a shotgun. My Great Grandpa had 2 shotguns, 2 .22s, and a savage 101 .22 pistol that he carried on his trapline. It is probably one of my most treasured pieces. I'll never forget seeing my 1st red fox that he caught and then the 1st time I saw that pistol coming out from under his jacket.
