On the news just now. She died at the age of 82 from complications of Covid 19.

Bob Denver, who played Gilligan, died back in 2005.

Gilligan's Island had a great cast, who worked well together to create a great, well loved show, that people still enjoy 57 years after the last episode was filmed.

Actually her and Ron Hinckley both had different contracts the the others, originally they were paid less then the others because they were originally supposed to be bit actors and not have as much screen time as the others and it was Bob Denver who then went to bat and demanded that they get better contracts

I remember her and Bob Denver on some morning show promoting the sale of Giligans island memorabilia along with some handicrafts made by him for some charity and they were talking about the show and she mentioned that at first she was getting paid just scale rate but then for some reason her pay jumped and Denver committed that he had threatened to walk out unless her and Hinckley were both paid the same as the others

I always thought that was a heck of a good thing to do
