This took a big left turn. Went from reading about the big bang to sitting in church. Might do you some good. Judging me without even knowing me. Nice.

Trees are pretty simple, yet they’ve only been around for about 1/10 the time the earth has. They did not happen bc of a Big Bang, they happened bc of evolution.
ah yes the "theory" of evolution. One that most credible scientists dont even believe anymore but they say it would cost too much to rewrite the text books. What did trees evolve from? Seeds? Lol. [/quote] Ferns actually. Look up “theory” by definition in science, it’s not an idea. Science, it’s why I don’t buy any religions, Christianity and every other. Truth be told, I didn’t even at a wee young age, well before I knew any science. I get that people believe it, but I get why too. Truth, doesn’t need youth groups for recruitment, weekly study, the threat of eternal torture, money for coffers, and special tax exemptions.

Why does everyone seem to lump the Big Bang and evolution (life coming from non-life) together? They have nothing to do with each other.
The "big bang" theory is just the scientific common name that has been applied to the creation of the universe. In short it says the universe instantaneously sprang into existence out of nothing. That is exactly how the Bible describes it. So science describes the how; just not the Who. I can live with that.

How can evolution be stated as a "theory" when it can't explain how life originated? There are only "hypotheses" for how life originated. So how can you have your "theory" when it relies on a "hypothesis" to be true? I get that people believe it, but I get why too. Truth, doesn’t need youth groups for recruitment, weekly study, the threat of eternal torture, money for coffers, and special tax exemptions. The lie is taught in schools and universities and parroted by MSM and Hollywood. And the Truth is attempted to be silenced by those same parties.

The absolute Truth is renounced, denounced, mocked, laughed at, spit upon, called all sorts of names, shelved in a file of categories, rejected, neglected, objected to and yet.... Let me check my iPhone. Hold on one second. Yep. It still keeps that yearly numerical date; begun when the One Who is Truth came to us. It's a miracle that this way to count our years has lasted this long

YOUR truth. Thousands of religions and beliefs out there, but I’m sure yours is the one and only right one, right? Lol.
He claimed evolution didn't need all the artificial help like Christianity needed. I was more countering that evolution was being disproportionately promoted while a belief in God is suppressed by society as a whole. I'd say I'm more right than wrong. More importantly I need to do better on doing the right.

by 2140 we could create an atmosphere around it with greenhouse gasses and turn it into a habitable planet similar to earth. it's already more than 90 percent CO2...how much more green gassy-ier can it get? which also begs the question...why isn't Mars like 800 degrees already???

Mars doesnt have an atmosphere of any consequence. Its atmosphere got blown away by the "solar winds" when it lost its electromagnetic field. Earth could lose its electromagnetic field.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Judging me without even knowing me. Nice.
So, what makes you think he's judging you? I know being in church does me good. He doesn't know me from the next guy, yet thinks that church would do me some good. That would imply that he thinks I am not a good person. I don't need church to know right from wrong.

Mars doesnt have an atmosphere of any consequence. Its atmosphere got blown away by the "solar winds" when it lost its electromagnetic field. Earth could lose its electromagnetic field. so how would adding greenhouse gasses to a 90 plus percent saturated atmosphere change the fact that it has no magnetosphere?

It’s about survival of the human race, not a fresh start. What did Mars ever do to you that you would treat it such?

First some say "you religious can't accept science." When we do submit our theology position as one including science, then up jumps the same group to say "why can't you religious keep religion outta science?" Y'all sound like liberals to be quite honest. Some people have different beliefs than y'all do. That's all.
Your witness counsellor.
