Ok guys this is going to come out as ridiculous as it sounds to me, but I just can’t figure it out. Has anyone ever seen coyotes or fox or any other critter stealing dog toys? My daughter have found five dog toys on our property while out checking traps in the last two weeks. They are definitely not from our dog. They are also not anywhere that the neighbors dogs would go. Quite a ways into the woods. Wild dogs were the only logical thing I could think of. Even though it sounded crazy in my head.
Anyone ever seen this? Help me not feel nuts.
Thanks, Greg

I would believe it is possible , think of all the smell on them theyinvestigate a bone jamed in the ground with urine on it why not a dog toy
I think you need to make up a dog toy set like a tbone set

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe I’ll make one and try. I will definitely put a camera on it

My skunk tried to steal the dogs toys often mostly the favorite ones she played with or the new ones.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Years ago there was a golf course that had a resident red fox on that would run out and steal your golf ball and then a friend showed me a photo of a fox den that had all kinds of garbage around it like pop bottles cans small pieces of scrap lumber and just general junk, the only thing we could think of is that the fox’s had just picked them up and carried them home, kind of like a 4 legged hoarder
So I don’t see why not dog toys after all they should have canine scent on them so it might draw them in and then it’s an easy pickup and carry item

I can see it now. People are buying tennis balls for their song dog sets.
