Leopold or Redfield for me. Redfield for a more affordable but still really high quality optics. I believe Leopoldo actually makes the Redfield as well now. Leopold for a real high quality option. Made in USA except the lenses, I believe like johnnytrapper and James said.

Buy a quality scope one time and use it for a lifetime. Amen. Buy once cry once. Leupold. In over 35 years of using several of them one has never let me down. Vortex let me down 3 times in two years. Never again.

My rifle went under in an unfortunate boating accident and spent several hours on the bottom before I finally retrieved it. I had a Redfield Widefield on it at the time. I liked the scope but it didn't hold back the water. Been with Leupold ever since.
