turkn8rtrapper OP trapper T Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 1,552 Saucier, Mississippi Harrison ...	Took the rest of the month off. Headed to the hunting camp till Feb. 1 or I limit out. We have some pretty liberal limits on whitetail. 3 bucks and 5 does. I took a 14" wide 4 year old 6 point a few weeks ago 185 pounds which the weight is pretty respectable for down here. The rack wasn't great so he got removed from the breeding cycle. We are allowed to take bucks with 10" inside spread or a 13" main beam. Our rut just kicked off which I know is way behind the northern folks. Hoping for a crack at a good one. I'll post pics if anything happens. "Skin that smokewagon and see what happens"

Bigbrownie trapper B Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 3,159 Pa.	When you posted the antler restrictions, I assumed they were imposed by a hunting club or a private lease. I looked up the Ms. game laws, and there it was. Folks in Pa. bellyache because they have to count three points on an antler before they shoot it. I can’t imagine hunters here estimating main beam length or inside spread. They can’t accurately measure an inside spread when it laying in the bed of their truck.
