Went to set up this new permission spot. Forgot my stupid Bemac gauntlets, but I still got two feed sets in, more later with all my gear. More to come... I have a pair of Bemacs that Im still using that have to be 20 years old.

A little younger than you are but I just pushed up my coat sleeve the first few years I trapped through the ice in New York. Alaska has made me soft.

White Dog I don't know where in Alaska you trap but where I trapped beaver the ice could be 2 to 5 feet thick! I never started before the 1st. of February though.

One 14 had feed pile brush/branch drug into it. Snapped.
Another loose jaw was swung over pan. Dog still on.
Two others were not messed with.
I'd have better odds with other traps, and other sets. But this is fun....for a while. Keep after it with those 14s.
