One 14 had feed pile brush/branch drug into it. Snapped.

Another loose jaw was swung over pan. Dog still on.

Two others were not messed with.

I'd have better odds with other traps, and other sets. But this is fun....for a while.

A little younger than you are but I just pushed up my coat sleeve the first few years I trapped through the ice in New York. Alaska has made me soft.

I don't know where in Alaska you trap but where I trapped beaver the ice could be 2 to 5 feet thick! I never started before the 1st. of February though.[Linked Image]
