curious how much the test actually cost, considering there are hundreds of thousand per day it's scary. Everyone says there free but nothing is free and they sure like to say you have to have one

We supposedly have "free" testing here. Yes someone always pays for it I know that. My daughter got sent home from school with a sore throat and not allowed to return without a 14 day wait or a negative test. Being fall sports at the time we toke her to get tested so she could get back to playing because she enjoys it and she certainly didn't have the Rona. Test negative and back to school she went two days later. Then we get a bill for $300 ish dollars. What the french toast? The tests are supposed to be free. They are but of course the doctors office visit was $250 and the lab fee was $50. The office visit was we pulled into the parking lot they tested her through the window of the car. Learned that lesson the hard way.

People do that. On Wisconsin's dashboard, they separate it by the percentage of people positive and percentage of tests positive.

My Wife had the virus, I waited 5 days after she tested. Family members who had been here over deer season had it...so I just wanted to stop their hammering to go in. So I did, negative, no symptoms.

At best, a negative test means you might not have the china virus at the time of the test. Likewise a positive test means you might have, or might not have, the china virus, again, at the time of the test. The test is flawed, due to the virus replication method used. Too many replications are being used and the accuracy of the test goes down dramatically with each replication beyond a certain number.

My son got tested yesterday, it was “free” (as in the money for it didn’t come directly out of my pocket, rather the coffers we all pay into)
