I finally got down to my friend with beaver problems new place today. I only had an hour to look it over and set so I only got 3 330s in cross overs, one caster mound set, and one snare . I didnt really have time to se very much of his place. I did set 2 k 9 sets on the way out.

I'm really looking forward to the check when I get off work in the morning and the additional scouting and setting a new place. I'm like a kid on xmas eve.

I do know in checking one set from my kayak. I can walk 30' to the water and put in vs walking up and down that 70' near vertical hill. No way I'm doing that packing a beaver . Then a short portage and then I get to another body of water to explore..

Setting 330s in runs sure is fast.

So now you can go to bed tonight wondering if you removed the safety catches. Lol

Just kidding, always enjoyed setting new ground.

Be safe

Every time I set a 220 or 330, soon as I’m too far away to go back and check I ask myself, did I take the safety’s off? Lol and then I think about it for the rest of the day.
