I have one in 45-70 it started as a complete barreled action in 22-250 with no wood and pretty rusty said it was kept in a outdoor storage shed don't ask me why it came off gunbroker I found a 45-70 safari barrel with the sling swivel on the barrel for it removed the 22-250 and put the 45-70 on then found a set of wood for it that was a standard wood set with out the safari forend so had to custom work it milled out the tip for the barrel sling swivel looks great now semi mannilicher then a new coat of bluing added a piciteny mount and a red dot scope deer killing machine tack driver. That is a labor of love.

I had two in .458 Win years ago. Took them bear hunting and only managed to miss (just once) even though it was a scoped rifle. It wasn't the guns fault.
