Awesome! I love the rifle, my dad has a ruger number 1 chambered in 30-06, it has harvested many beluga and moose. Accurate iron sight rifle

I had two in .458 Win years ago. Took them bear hunting and only managed to miss (just once) even though it was a scoped rifle. It wasn't the guns fault.

My Ruger 1V In .25-06 has been my favorite deer / coyote rifle for the last 30 years. Great rifle - caliber combination.
