My Dad is 78 and has never trapped before. With all the Covid going on he hasn’t been out as much as normal. He has rode along with me a few trips and we haven’t had much luck. We went yesterday and had a pretty good day. He was surprised at the damage beaver can do in a tiny creek. I really love that we got to spend time together. Big fun!!!

We have been all over the country hunting and fishing. Arizona, Florida, Alabama , Georgia , the Carolina’s ,North and South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, Kentucky, and others . Made a million memories but this one hits home. I may not have him much longer. But the main thing is that he is ready to go to a better place. Thanks for all your kind comments.

That first picture is what being a human is all about. We started out as hunter-gatherers operating as families. Most natural thing we can do is hunt, fish, trap together as a family. But it’s so rare today. A sign that human civilization is deteriorating, at least in the developed countries.

I feel you there. My dad said this may have been his last year deer hunting. That's a hard thing to hear. He's deer hunted since he was old enough to walk.
