Do you notice coyotes of different sexes reacting differently to gland lure? If so what differences do you notice and are certain gland lures more attractive to males or females? When do coyote begin mating and what is there gestation period?

Don around here the gland lure attracts mostly male coyotes and boar raccoon. But as you know it’s what’s on that individual animals mind that decides if it commits. Been using JC Conners coyote gland mostly.

Both sexes will react to coyote gland lure but you will entice more of those big old, mature males when using it during breeding season. Now's the time to start using it. They start breeding in January and February. Gestation period is right around 60 days. I'm catching a few females that are in heat now.

Anyone just use rectal gland, and/or genital remnants?
