Cottontail rabbits have chicken colored meat. Do you all have real rabbits up there besides those snowshoe things...? Not for rabbits we have very few. But maybe try a leaning stick with for squirrels. I need to order some small snairs. What do you like?

What do you like? We use brass wire that I buy from Canadian Tire. I think it’s 22 gauge. Not 100% sure on that though. I never snared squirrels before but I’m pretty sure you need thinner wire. Maybe Northof50 will comment what to use. He’s the squirrelchaser! Cold as ice!
