I like the ol duke 2 rj, but I agree that at some point one should just make something you're good at, and quit with the gimmicks.

Don’t feel bad about it. Sad reality is most folks on here think they are American patriots just because they don’t by duke traps even though everything else they own is made elsewhere.

I didn't even know Duke had started making these. I might have to try a few. I got some of the Bridger 2s when they came out, and I personally wasn't very impressed. The quality control on the ones I have were terrible. I loved the concept, but I rarely set them. Too many issues. I know several on here who stated the loved theirs, but I don't care for them at all. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I won't be buying anymore.

I have 11 dozen of the Bridger 2 dogless. I love em!

Just wondering about the jaw lever design on the Duke dogless and other models. Whether that lever locks up better?

I guess not many look at things such as this as close as I do.

I’m getting kind of partial to the Bridger #2 Dogless.

I have once again made a full circle to the Bridger #2 dogless as well. I've ran them all MJ's, Jakes, Dukes, MB550, MB650, Coyote Cuffs, and even the no BS. For the price, easy maintenance if needed, lock up, and the easiest bedding trap I can find (yes even better than the MB550) they are hard to beat.

I was down to 50/50 MB 550 and No bs this season. I borrowed two dozen Bridger dogless from a friend to give them a go again and they out performed the others in their class. I know it's not a popular opinion. However, for me the Bridger #2 dogless do it all.

Swamp if you ever want to get out of a few dozen hit me up.

I agree with you 100% Wade. Best trap I've ever used for my soil and predator conditions.
