I got lucky. Thanks Paul. I posted the thread on House Bill 5717. I thought it was important enough to risk a vacation. I respect Paul a lot. He runs the best site in cyber space and I wouldnt do anything I thought would be disrespectful to him, or his site.

I wish we had a separate political forum here for those that want to discuss. I got lots of my info here from many of you as I stopped watching the news months ago.

I have nothing but respect for you as well Ken. You're a big part of what makes this site what it is, and i will obey the rules from here on out. So much of our lives are political now, that it can creep into almost any conversation. The danger I think is how to get the word out about certain issues that effect trappers and outdoorsmen. Social media will censor anything that even leans conservative, and the news certainly isnt covering these issues. I would not have even known about Bill 5717 but I saw it on another forum.

Had Political forum here before, they never work out as they become to emotional for people who can't control themselves from opposing opinions !!

I'm happy to not see them here as well as any religious ones for the same reasons !!

I get what you're saying, but with a dedicated forum, you have the option not to click on it. If you do and don't like what you see, it's your own fault.

Like survivor we should be able to vote people off of the island. LOL They can come back as all stars later so they don’t feel bad then.

I'd be happy to moderate it, of course I'd ban everyone who disagrees with my point of view. But I'd be happy to do it.

Paul tried to be fair with that forum , he just got tired of the crap on there, even the mod could not control the people as he was involved as well and it just got out of control and started leaking into the other forums.

There are other forums out there that have gone through this as well, and ended theirs as well, it's to volatile !!

Missing the news is a small price to pay for everyone not hating on each other.

You can find anything you want to jerk your chain on any number of websites. We drove to town last night to grab a bite to eat and NOBODY was driving the speed limit. I’m certain not everyone was a conservative.

Trapperman was, is, one of my news sources. I liked getting news here as most everyone had the same point of view as me, but there were folks from dang near every state. The links to various vids or writings helped keep me informed.

So.... do these vacations come with any extras? Can I choose where to go? Are coupons provided for free drinks? Haha! Guess we will find out when those on vacations return!
