Thank you to all to who sold their fur today (yesterday) the buyers who attended were -- Stark Fur - Ernie Kovacik, Stark, KS, North IA Fur - Bill Drewelow, NE IA Fur Exchange - Rick Hemsath, Otter Creek Fur - David Raber, Midwest Taxidermy - Ben Trumblee, Miller Fur - Don Miller Plymouth, IL, The Fur Shed - Mike Hermsen, Evan's Fur - Tony Evans, Hutton School of Taxidermy - Roger Hutton and Bruce Hutton, Hindman Fur - Al Hindman.
Help with setting up, lotting in, carrying fur and clerking during the day Chad Thede, Jeff Landuyt, Dave Phipps, Cody Hutton, Pat McAninch, Tony Evans, Roger Hutton, Bret Smith - auctioneer, Nat Hill & Tracy Hutton - clerking, I believe I got anyone who helped.
Below are the results of the sale. Both green and finished fur was combined in these numbers plus some carcass otter and bobcats. If I were to guess, it was about 50/50 with the green verse finished coon. Also, there were 31 coon that were not sold due to no value. We had a total of 32 sellers with 300 lots of fur

Better than a PA sale held yesterday. Thanks for posting.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Thank you for a great, all inclusive report on what I'm sure was a very well run auction.
No secrecy, guessing, or non-reporting of the auction results.
A refreshing change form how our NYSTA state auctions are normally reported, or should I say non-reported.
Well done guys, well done.

NYSTA doesn't run any of the sales--they're all club sales.

NYSTA doesn't run any of the sales--they're all club sales. I should have said NYSTA affiliate auctions, my mistake No problem with the way any of the auctions are run Bob. My issue is the often near total lack of information on the results of the auctions after they are completed. Take the recent Ballston Spa Auction from last weekend. If It weren't for some forum member from NYS posting some sparse information on what happened, trappers would have no idea of what went on, how much fur, what the High-Low-Averages were, etc. This has been an re-occuring issue for many, many years, and one I have been very vocal about. I don't think it's too much to ask for, if someone could post the results within a week after each sale concludes. w
