Twitter bans president and his main supporters. Now they must be deleting followers en masse of anyone supportive of that party.

People were outraged at one point about chinese censorship, well it's right here in our faces now.

I believe its been here for a few decades, just not as visual.

Someone creates parler and Google and Apple delete it from their app store and Amazon deletes their server...

Occurs to me the Parler story may be a bit different than it seems. Following Twitter's ban of POTUS, other Twitter conservatives were losing followers en mass. Heard Charles Payne who is on Fox Bus say he lost 50,000 followers in one day. They were not purged, they left on their own and were all going to Parler. POTUS has tens of millions of followers......a lot of them cancelling their accounts.

Shutting down Parler may be an attempt to stem the outgoing Tide. Less likely to leave Twitter if they have no alternative?

Parler can still be joined but not with a fone app.

All conservatives should leave Twitter. Why be on it anyway.

Those are rules, set forth for all to see when you sign on. Banning people because you don't like them is censorship.

Yes, and that's Paul's right, he runs the forum. He can allow or censor whatever content he wants, and he can allow or prevent whoever he wants to join. In the same vein the folks that run twitter can censor whatever content they want, and kick off anyone they want from their site.

If twitter has to allow anyone who wants, and whatever content anyone feels like posting,then Paul would also have to allow anyone,including anti-trappingfolks, and allow what cer drivel we can come up to post on here.

If Mr Dobbins and a handful of others controlled web traffic and worked in concert to suppress voices that opposed their views while maintaining a near monopoly on speech platforms that would be a problem.

If i did not like the rules here, I would not be on this forum. Likewise I have stopped liking the practices of FB and Google, so I am no longer on FB and don't use google as a search engine. I am planning to change my e mail address to another platform as it is currently Gmail but that is a little bit more hassle and I want to make sure that I am not stepping from one pile of crap into another before I do that.

Is Trump using any of the alternative platforms?

I have FB. Rarely post, but will comment on friends posts which are rarely political. Alaska Trappers Association has a FB page and it gets 5 or6, sometimes more, new members every day. Lots of helpful info. Also am a member of a few FB groups. Valuable, helpful info on these groups. FB marketplace is replacing Craigslist from what I see.
Perhaps if outdoor users remain with FB in enough numbers we can at least use it to our advantage.

Sorry - I will not support anyone or organization that is trying to destroy my way of life.

Social media companies/news media are 50%+ responsible for the mess we have today via a coordinated attack on conservatism. Do not support any of them in any way, shape or form. Oppose them all at every opportunity.
