People don't read the rules of most of these platforms, they just sign up.

People also expect to be able to speak their peace on them, however like this one most have standard and or personal rules about how one speaks on them, unless it's noted its a free realm or latitude of open discussion on anything goes, it's not a free speaking forum, which most don't allow, this is done to keep control so it's primarily open to like minded people with a sense of respect and or decorum.

The problem arises, when some of these forums allow things to wander around or give the idea that anything goes, then turn around and start giving out vacations, when people start aligning their views with others that the owners do not agree with or don't follow established standards they agreed to, vacations or bans then ensue.

We are fortunate here that Paul lets us vent every now and again by posting that he is relaxing rules for discussion , but that he is watching to let you know things will come to an end if it gets past his patience level.

Many of those other platforms don't do this, one should always read the rules of any forum before assuming you can run rampant with your thoughts about freedom of expression, then complain cause you shut down or banned !!

As of this morning Billion $ Parler was shut down entirely by Amazon, upon whose servers (about 300 of them) Parler resides. So add Amazon to your list too.

Mr. Paul runs a fair and tight ship, and is entitled to. If you don't like that, go elsewhere. For the analogy to fly, Mr. Paul would be able to extend his rules to all other elsewhere places that don't follow those rules, if he owned and controlled them or not. That may go well beyond censorship.

What is going on with big tech is probably a violation of anti-trust rules and as of this morning, Rep. Devin Nunes was talking DOJ, RICO and racketeering charges against CEO's of Apple, Goobers, twitty and some others as well. He said Parler was his connection to something like 700,000 followers....his constituents and that was now gone. He was not happy.

CORRECTION.....not 700,000.......it was 3 Million

BTW, I've read where there are only two search engines. Goobers and Bing, which is owned and run by Microsoft. DuckDuck runs through Bing, but filters user ID's so Bing (Microsoft) can't track you.

Once you peel back the layers, looks like there are only 4 or 5 companies running the whole thing. Goobers IS Big Brother.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a fair and impartial investigation with real consequences for lawlessness.
