Has anyone ever finished a lion hide? Flesh, stretch, & dry. I’ve got a buddy that wants a couple done. I’m planning to tackle them with some advice.

I have not,but it must be similar to doing a large wolf or small bearhide.
I have tanned large hides but unlike the smaller hides,it is cost effective to get the bigger ones done at the tannery.

I have skinned and fleshed mt lion's. I always salted them rather than just drying them.

Follow the pelt handling guidelines from FHA for taxidermy species handling.
