Although, some semi-auto guns will have problems cycling certain shells. So there is that.

I recommend the Beretta A300, right around $800.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any guns or know how to shoot them.

If I already had the replacement for it I would sell it(good time to be selling) , if I didn't have it's replacement yet - I wouldn't ( bad time to be buying guns) . I had an old weatherby pump that I bought back in high school ( shot well) - but it was relegated to a barn gun when I got the new Berretta (a-300). It took almost a year before I could hit anything with the beretta and I almost sold it and bought something else. The jury is still out on this one, but Iam glad that I haven't sold the old weatherby ---- yet.

My A-300 was free -- (promotional thing through company I was doing business with) -- didn't realize they were that expensive. I haven't experienced any cycling issues (low or high base) but somehow I got some water into the gas system and broke the washer that holds the stock on -- rude awakening that day. Replaced and been fine since.

What does it say on the barrel?

2 3/4" or. 3" ?

Yep. I wouldn’t sell any guns the way things are going.

It says 3", it's a Wingmaster Magnum.

Can't imagine any of the semi's would have cycling issues with 3" duck and goose loads? Any other type of shells get fed to the 555.

Buy a Benelli...it’ll last your lifetime even if you don’t take care of it. Can field strip it in the pit and clean it and back together in less than 3 minutes. You can leave it in the swamp under water for a week and come back and pick it up, rinse it out, and hunt. Mines over 10 years old and never a hiccup except when a bean stalk somehow got behind the bolt. A quick clean in the pit and back to shooting ducks. When I was duck hunting salt water I’d just take it in the shower with me and wash her down. If no shower, just get a garden hose and spray it down. Made my boys learn to take theirs apart and put them back together blindfolded. The only one I have that I wouldn’t leave in a swamp or take a shower with is the Ultralight...she’s too pretty for that.

Forgot I'll have a little extra money once I sell off the engagement ring my ex wife decided she didn't want anymore. Can't think of anything more fun that's legal that I'd rather spend that on than a new gun. Might be the difference between a Stoeger and a Beretta. I do like the looks of the Beretta A300 outlander mallard.

It’s estimated that around 7million remington 870’s have been produced, if you did sell it and ever wanted another one i’ll bet you could get your hands on one.
