Skinned a coyote with the paws still on is there anything I need to do during the drying process so it don’t mold?

As long as you skinned all the way to the claw base, you can add a little borax in the pads or just turn the pads inside out to dry.

I have done just a couple but what I did to make myself feel better is after I skinned them out all the way to the claws I pressed a little salt in there..... however I found out the hard way that water will want to pool in the toes so then once its on the stretcher I took some regular trapping wire and held the feet up a little bit so the water would drain out of the pads...… that's what I did and so far they have all turned out good with no fur slippage! good luck

Take some stiff cardboard and spread out that paw area and and pin It In place. Then work some borax Into the paw.
Hang the coyote from the tail area so the legs will fall away from the body so they will dry better. Or you can step ladder to do this. Just place the board in from the step side and place it under the bracing on the back side.

Just turn them leather out after skinning-they will dry fine same as the rest of the pelt,just make sure all the fat and meat are fleshed off.
