Been busting this hill with those Nexens up hill the no problem to set for cats.

All of the rural mail carriers use Falkens around here because they hold up well on the gravel. That’s what got me started on them.

I have Falken Wild Peak A/T’s on three vehicles. 10 ply for my 3/4 ton Excursion and 6 ply on two Trail Blazers. Love them! Waaaay better ride than the GY Wranglers I used to run and hold up way better also. Don’t brake the bank either.

Get these and get the DT's (different tread). They will last a long time and have a warranty.

You couldn't pay me to run Good-fer-a-Year's on my trucks.

Me either, any more anyway.

The tirws on it now are the good year wranglers, they were on it when I bought the truck.

I’ll have to look into the falkens, I spend a lot of time on gravel and that’s what seems to eat up my tires so quick

I have a summer set of rims and tires.
And a fall winter/ trapline set on which I've had the Goodyear's that the MNDNR ran, Cooper At, General, Faulken, and Mastercraft. I've erased them all in less than two seasons. So I'm looking for some new brands and I'm to the point where I either buy really cheap crap tires cause nothing lasts for me or buy the best nuclear depleted uranium tire money can buy.

I'd look seriously at the BFG all terrain TA KO's. They've been a real good tire for me on 3 different trucks. When I was wrenching, we put a lot of Firestone transforce on heavy duty pickups, seemed to be a popular tire

BF Goodrich All Terrain TA. Pricey but do the job and look good too!

Happy with these so far. Cheap for 10 ply tires and very aggressive.

I ran Ironman 10 ply all winter and I haven't had an issue yet. Seem to be wearing well. Was climbing up rock hills with them, creeks, fields, stubble, etc. They were abused. Paid $525 for the set. No flats to speak of yet. Ran 150 miles of trapping for 12 days.

On my third set of Firestone Transforce AT 10 ply on my 3/4T Duramax. Get 60K miles out of them and just a good all around tire for towing, snow plowing and highway travel.

Best tire I had for snow was the General Grabber AT2 but didn’t make 40K so didn’t go back to them.

I have had good luck with these tires on a few vehicles.

My new truck came with some extra aggressive version of Goodyear wranglers. I have never had good luck with Goodyear tires except US made trailer tires.

Since I am no longer concerned with commuting to my office or city driving, I want to get a set that will be very aggressive in mud and great on snow and ice. That is about impossible.
