Iv only been messing with it for a couple hours but I'm impressed since they arnt tracking and placing adds you actually get what you are searching for and not half of a page of crap you arnt interested In . Seems way more efficient

Good search engine. Used it for a couple years. Took some getting used to for me.

I've been using DuckDuckGo for a while now and like it. I also switched my PC browser from Google Chrome back to Firefox.

Eh...wot?

Read an article a while back. There are only two search engines. Google and Microsoft Bing. DuckDuck runs on the Bing search engine platform, but hides the search data from Bing.

Worse than what Google tracks is what Google presents. It only shows what someone pays them to show, or what they choose for reasons known only to them.

I have a business website......small trade kinda thing.......on Bing, Duck Duck or Yahoo, search for my line of work and I show up on first page.....and in position 1, 2 or 3. It changes day to day, but always on page 1.

Search on Google and it shows up never. I have gone 50 pages deep and I won't be there. I did something to get myself blacklisted. They have the power to make or break you and you really have no say in it.

BTW, if you want to see something interesting, Google yourself. Just your name.

I gogled my name and looked at images. Never did see a picture of me but this guy turned up. Now I have to say he is a good guy. Lives about 40 miles away I guess. I like him. But we dont share the same name. No clue how he ended up in images after I typed in my name.

I used to have my ADC website Track on page 1 line 1 through 6 first page. Late/ Rob wildlife network ran my site. If he got busy and let it slip , my site fell off page 1. I called him once when jobs got thin and whatever he did put it Back on page 1 of Google first 5 slots. I didn't pay GOOGLE.
