Wife and I both "on the frontline" got our first weeks ago. No issues at all with the first. She got the 2nd last week along with multiple co workers. It literally wiped out the entire squad! Everyone that took it was basically down and out for 2 days. Severe headache, body ache and a high fever. She said she absolutely would not take the 2nd if given the chance over. This was the Pfizer brand. I am scheduled for #2 in less than 2 weeks. Same thing with my staff. First Pfizer dose minimal impact. Second one not so much

I got the Shingles series earlier this year. Was told that it would make my arm hurt. Neither shot made me sore.
I will take any Covid vaccine that becomes available to me. Not just for my own good but to help protect family, friends and fellow Americans. It used to be the people all pitched in in this country for the common good without any whining. A patriotic act.
Look at the sacrifices Americans made during WWII. Blackouts, food/fuel rationing, buying war bonds, penny drives, volunteerism, etc .etc. As a society we don't look like that much these days.

In 2018 Vanderbiltt University did a study on the 1918 Spanish flu. They found that individuals that lived during that time and are still alive had the antibodies, 90 years later! My mother lived to be 103 and passed a couple years ago but I can never remember her being sick except she was 102 and got pneumonia and we thought she wouldn't make it but she kicked it and kept going. My point here is I don't think they know how long any antibody will last or the medical scientists will not say. My wife tested positive on new years afternoon by Sunday she just presented a cold but Monday she was going down hill fast. Took her to the ER and was diagnosed with phenumonia. They treated her with Bamlamivimab, Thats the drug they gave Trump. Did not have to stay in hospital. She got released yesterday to continue life. We didn't mask up and have been together the whole time. She was coughing, sneezing and we live in the same house, I haven't been sick. I tested negative 6 days after she was tested. So now I have to quarantine for 14 days and I feel good. I am going too get the antibody test before I take the vaccine. I had the Hong Kong flu in 1969 and I was the only one in the family that got it. I was sick! I am hoping that since I had it I have the antibodies from it and that's why I am well now. Time will tell!

There is no data that says once you get the vaccine that you will not spread it. https://www.westernjournal.com/dark-truth-covid-vaccine-even-fauci-admits/

If you have the vaccine and it will protect you from the virus, why are you so concerned about someone who doesn't take it? I have never had a flu shot and I've never had the flu. I did have a cold about 20 years ago. My wife got a flu shot every year and got the flu every year. They kept telling her if was a different strain when she asked why she still got the flu. She stopped getting a flu shot 3 years ago and has never had the flu since.

According to Fauci (and other epidemiologists) our best path forward to end this nightmare is for enough of the citizenry to get vaccinated so that herd immunity kicks in and we can get back to some semblance of what we call normal. We can open up again for business.
Or we can just wait until most everybody has caught it (and our death toll goes over the million mark) and herd immunity maybe starts to kick in. That would be nature's way... I will admit. Might take a long time to do it nature's way. How much longer can businesses survive being shut down?

Kind of a 5th grade retort. If you don't want to vaccinate I don't think you should be forced to, but can you entertain the possibility of dialogue without the throwing of insults? That is the sunlit path my friend. Oops! Maybe I'm guilty too. LOL

My wife and I are both past 65. I can't figure out why anyone that age would refuse the vaccine. Did you also refuse the polio vaccine?

Normal would come faster if people stopped watching the news as it only incites fear. Opening up would happen if crooked politicians relaxed their reign.
