Seems like the longer you work an area the farther back you get Jackie.

Oh that happens but long as i been working for these folks is just odd when they give me a new spot ive never been to before.

Doubt i'll ever go back to this site once im done with it, still scratching my head where a dern beaver even came from out in that country. Be alot better place to trap grey fox and bobcats than beavers, lol. Not enough water around there to keep a chigger alive.

I trapped some beaver that were eating Scotch pine, all that was in the feed pile. The beaver didn't have enough fat to fry their ears! The ice had them locked in, don't think they would of seen the spring.

had a beaver in that mining area today, as i figured it had loose hide and was in poor condition, no clue why they will get in mediocre habitat and try to make a go of it. But through the years ive often wondered exactly what they were thinking when they decided to set up shop in some of the place's i have seen. I guess like people some are just not real bright, lol.

I enjoyed the trip. I did the same thing in Oregon for years. Doing damage control one drives past way more beaver than you drove to. And drive and drive.
