Guess it would be better --to be deemed ignorant, than be proven to be ignorant. Tom I'm more interested in how God deems me rather then anybody here on this planet deems me.

Jim So now you are vaccinated, do you still take all the precautions? Mask, social distinsing, hand washing where does it stop? Does it stop when someone says it's over? Nate, Sorry this took so long to respond. I was on a 350 mile ambulance transfer, that if I had the liberty to share the details of, might help explain why I do what I do, but with HIPPA I do not have that liberty. Yes, I do still wear a mask, social distance when possible and practical, and wash hands when needed. As far as when it will stop? It will stop for me when I decide it is no longer needed or helpful. I have never called anyone here ignorant for their beliefs, although I have been called a "sheeple" for deciding what was best for me rather than following what seems to be the current here. Civility in discussion is something that I believe we are in dire need of in our time. There is so much that we agree on that it seems a shame when we let the things we may not agree on draw us into a spitting match. Have a good night, and I need to get some sleep. Jim

Love how Pfizer said they would launch their own investigation into his death....Guess they don't trust the Miami medical examiners investigation? Gotta control the narrative.

Stopping testing won't stop 3-4000 Americans from dying every day from covid. What will slow it down greatly would be to stop telling people that if they wear a mask they can go where ever they want and be protected, and protect others who are 6 feet away. Masks are giving people a false sense of security. Masks, in effect, are killing people. Even people who wear the correct masks are not wearing them correctly. This is evidenced by the surge in cases in spite of everyone and their brother wearing masks. If you are in any of the groups which are dying from COVID-19, you need to self isolate until this virus goes away on its own like all viruses have done in the past, and go ahead and get the vaccine.

I think a lot of people are tired of self isolating. I know a lot, if not the majority, of the elderly people my wife works with are. They want to live, not stay cooped up in their homes like they have for the last year. Saw Fauci on the news last week contradict what you just said. He said covid is here to stay, and isnt going anywhere, so the question quickly becomes, how long are these lockdowns sustainable ? Another year?? Two years?

So if the Moderna CEO is in the news predicting this strain of SARS will be "endemic," meaning "with us forever," when do we begin to prep for coming out of isolation? Forever is a long time.
So we move ahead knowing some points are certain; Covid is real. The vaccine reduces the likelihood of complications. It does not reduce infection or transmission.
The logic that getting a vaccine is a path for you to now safely visit others who are at risk is ???? logic. It would not be.
Simply anyone who decides to receive the vaccine or anyone who decides not to take the vaccine is making the same decision all vaccines have offered since they were discovered; a scenario for the vaccinated of risk vs. benefit. We make 100's of decisions everyday. This is one more. No more. No less.
If certain politicians hadn't politicized this as they've done, we'd be paddling this canoe in much calmer waters. But we live in political divisive times in present day America and politicians see points to be scored, newscasts to be conducted, hay to be bailed, so they blab, mandate, opinion, and lock down for reasons only they know.
I'm just glad I won't get the flu this season because it's obvious Covid killed it.
Blessings, Mark
