Interesting. I've got 3 early 50's John Deere's with narrow front ends - an MT, B, and 520, but they're not tricycles like the Belarus.
I don't know when Deere quit producing narrow fronts. Probably when tractors just kept getting bigger and everyone quit cultivating corn?

Tractor manufacturers stopped making them for two reasons, not really needed anymore and safety. They were usefull mainly because of turning radius and for having mounted equipment (pickers, cultivators). When farmers went to larger than 4 row equipment no longer needed the short turning radius. Combines and wider equipment that mounted on a 3 pt.got away from need for narrow front. While narrow fronts were cheaper the rollover factor made them undesireable. The widowmaker nickname is what got makersto stop production. I havd a Farmall with s narrow front, that's the one tractor I never let the kids run.

Was expecting the narrow double front tire set up, not a single. Used one when I was younger in small farm vegetable crops. Brings back some memories. Mostly hard work and long hours, but I wouldn't trade growing up like that for anything. Taught me the value of an earned dollar

I think with John Deere the 20 series was the last with a narrow front end. My uncle has a 420 and a 3010 with a narrow front end. They’ll I always thought they were an accident waiting to happen
