I am about to venture into footholds, and was showing some of the youngsters pics of brightly painted traps. they got really excited about each one getting their own pretty color. if y'all could share some pics and the color and process I would be grateful. trying to keep them interested and give them memories/keepsakes.

I saw a painted sawblade once. I even tried it on some sawchain, but, didn't hold up well.
Man who mistake shillelagh for fairy wand; see pixie dust, also.

My DPs are painted blue I call it “beach blue” they look good and they stand out in the snow!
Trapping is what built North America, why take that away?

Be sure to tell the kids some traps aren't brightly colored and camouflaged . . . with kiddy bait. Oh no, he dit' unt... Just to be clear, this is a JOKE! :-)
