I thought that was the first thing trappers do with their tools! THEN, we tend not to leave them at a set.
PLUS, should they fall in water, they are easier to find, if not too deep.

I thought it was taught at all Trappers Ed classes!

Orange duct tape hold up way better than paint, lasts years.

I put in a Wolf fang anchor on 16" of cable. Hooked it to my 4 wheeler gave her Gas and almost flipped the wheeler over.

Those Wolf fangs are easy to drive and won't pull out.

I cut and run it saves my back better to cut the cable then pay the price of pulling them up, pulling a badger out of a hole is bad enough for my back.

Painting tools with a good coat, or two, of flat white paint BEFORE painting them with blaze orange will really make the blaze orange pop!
