Why is it on this board that if I am on page 3 of a forum (Trap Talk for example) and I click the link at the top to go to another forum (Strictly trapping for instance) that it takes me to page 3 of the second forum instead of the first page?

Is there a setting I need to change on my end?

I am guessing that whatever alphabet agency that infiltrated Tman had a glitch in their tracking virus but I might be wrong. Instead of the government it might just be google

99% sure it's related to the cookies.

100% sure that the issue.can be fixed via a change to the way the link is coded.

Yea I hate that. Especially if I go to the trap shed and all I end up looking at is all old post before I realize what has happened.

That doesn't happen when I try it. What device are you using ?? Could it be a browser issue ??

Happens on my phone or pc in either opera or Firefox. There's a cookie that persists and the way the links are coded on the list of links above the forum are coded so that the cookie determines where you land. I can explain this more tonight when I can get on PC

If you ended your last session on page 3 you remain on page 3 at every thread until you go back to page 1.

It can also persists if you leave the site from other than page 1 then type/paste the board address and you'll end up on whatever page you left from.

The problem is the links at the top of the page just points to the forum. They do not explicitly tell the browser/server which page to request. The default is usually some sort of GOTOLAST command.
