My daughter in law is saying good bye to her father for the last time. If you use a CPAP machine you should keep an eye on your blood CO2 level.

My new machine sends information to the doctor. If he even looks at the information is another thing. Good to know but thanks to Yukon 254 I have 2 oximeters. As I wait in quarantine I use it every day and believe everyone should have one, especially now with the china virus!

Sorry for their loss but thanks for the information!

Sorry for your loss white dog. Are you talking about CO2 levels or oxygen levels?

My wife has been on c-pap...then B-pap and now e-pap for about 6 years. Her co2 levels would always get high, until she got this last machine. This machine has to be set by the fella who brought it out to the house. Then they come out from time to time, take readings from the machine, let her Doc look at it and adjust if needed.

It has been nearly three years now since her co2 levels were high. Best thing for her by a long shot.

It boils down to having the machines set right. They more or less have to be "timed" to coincide with the patients breathing. If they are not the machine and the patient are always fighting each other. Which causes high levels of co2.

I am not a doc by any means, but I have studied and talked to several docs about this for years after watching my mom, dad, and now my wife have to go through it.

Thank you. CO2 levels and all I know is the Doctor said it contributed to his death.

Thanks for the information. I know very little about it.
