Good looking cats-the big one really stands out.

Good work. Jerry, wow 60-70 muskrats for one cat and no skinning, fleshing or boarding and arguing either!

I always try to sell them for taxidermy. I still never did understand the guys that want a bobcat someone else shot/trapped in their man cave but I've sold a fair number of them over the years just for that. Our cats will run $30-60 green this year. I've already got one sold for $150 for a mount. Definitely worth pursuing.

In todays market I think you did ok and maybe then some. FYI if you weigh a bunch of 35-40 pound bobcats the scale will say 30 or less.

Good for you. I used to sell a bunch to taxidermist when I was guiding. Crazy what city folk will pay for them

Taxidermists here sell bobcat mounts to people for $2500. It’s quite the market.

The big one looks like our cats. Is it normal there or is the other coloration more normal there? Nice to see others are selling to the taxi market. I have a guy that buys many critters and pays about 3 times fur market value. Good job on those cats.

Wish I had more time to trap....

Not to be a thread stealer, but a friend killed a big one in Down East Maine today. No weight yet, but looks well over 30.

Same here. A friend asked for a cat to get mounted for his cave. I took it to the taxidermist a week or two back. I can't imagine spending a thousand dollars or more to have something mounted I had no part in taking but some people will.

35+ cat there EB, mine was fat from eating 3/4 of a old rooster that died that I used for the cage.

Colors are all over the place I get my best cats and worst cat colors in the same places East and West river.

The last one I got where I caught this red one earlier (6 days before season, released) was a Sandy silky cat.
