Law Dog OP trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 36,271 Central, SD	Sold to taxidermist today if he did not take it I had another guy that would of bought it but he will take the spotted one the last one I’ll just get tanned. $200 for the big cat and $125 for the spotted female. I still never did understand the guys that want a bobcat someone else shot/trapped in their man cave but I've sold a fair number of them over the years just for that. Our cats will run $30-60 green this year. I've already got one sold for $150 for a mount. Definitely worth pursuing. Cold as ice!

Nice to see others are selling to the taxi market. I have a guy that buys many critters and pays about 3 times fur market value. Good job on those cats. Wish I had more time to trap....

Same here. A friend asked for a cat to get mounted for his cave. I took it to the taxidermist a week or two back. I can't imagine spending a thousand dollars or more to have something mounted I had no part in taking but some people will.

Colors are all over the place I get my best cats and worst cat colors in the same places East and West river. The last one I got where I caught this red one earlier (6 days before season, released) was a Sandy silky cat. Last edited by Law Dog; 01/20/21 11:06 PM.
