I was on line shopping for a winter wool parka. In short ordered a wool blanket parka which was supposed to be made from old military blankets the advertising looked great and the price was right. I thought it was a priced to low and was suspicious but thought well someone bought a truck load of military blankets and started a cottage industry. Well got the parka and its not wool but polyester and as thin as a tee shirt and well junk. No luck on returns and don't believe the customer testimonies as they are fake also. I plan to report to the better business bureau but with the internet shopper beware. I have seen this parka advertised on other web sites and maybe the real deal does exist and this is a knock off. I do know that Canada Goose Parkas have a bunch of knock offs that even use there logos, prices are 20% of what the real parkas are sold for. Anyway stay away from Valiin Boreal WindRak parka.

Whenever I come across a website I've not heard of with a product that seems a little too cheap, I Google their name. It's saved me several times. Here's what comes up when you Google Valiin:

All the Chinese text and their email contact ending in Gmail should throw up big red flags. You can report them every day, but they're not in America so it's not going to do any good.

Scam

I actually got the thing off a pickup add that came through my ebay should have known better if its too good to be true. I think someone has actually got a good product they stole the advertisement pics and mocked up a piece of junk.

Pretty sure you’re right, they make cheap knock offs of items, then steal the advertising.

Lots of bait and switch out there now and false ads Facebook China junk comes to mind, Camo BDU ad what you get is not what was in the ad and off by 2 sizes on top of that they depend on you not sending it back to China it’s not worth your time to do so.

Nope dont plan to send it back just more hassle and the postage would be about 500 coon! Lesson learned and only cost me $50 cheap education hate doing business online unless I know its a solid site like this one. I did get smart years ago and have a credit card with a $50 dollar burn limit and $500 max.
