I want to join it and United Trappers of Kentucky. I just wanted to make sure it was worth it.

Thanks! That’s what I wanted to know! If it was something smart or something where you’re money is going to make someone rich.

You could join the NTA and the FTA....I prefer the FTA, but have been more involved with them, and they seem like a tighter knit group.

If you haven't noticed there is no NTA representative, or director in Kentucky.

Attended the FTA trappers college in '85 and it seems like there is more FTA stuff going on in the central and southern regions.

NTA has the biggest national convention however, if that is important to you.

The UTK are very good people, great state trappers assoc.

GOA is 10x better. The Demonicrats even said they hate the GOA a thousand times worse than the NRA. The GOA does not ever compromise, period. They are far more active and achieved more too.

Not a hard fix...if any of your state orgs joins the NTA, which will provide insurance for your events among other things, you can get a rep.

Sounds good, when you pull up Kentucky on the NTA website it shows the director as vacant.
But a link to the UTK comes up.

Kentucky should be in the NTA mix, I fully agree.

I know you are from Kentucky but we in Michigan are having a special. If you are not a current member of the Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers Association (MTPCA ) and sign up to be a member for $25 you also get a FREE membership to the NTA and a FREE membership to the FTA. Yes all 3 for $25. This promotion helps boost our memberships and works like a donation from MTPCA to the NTA and FTA.

Thanks Big Joe, I'm going to jump on that deal...

It's a heckuva bargain, even has reduced price options on the major trapping mags!
