He was obviously NOT paying attention the day the teacher discussed "look both ways before crossing the road."
Interesting story. Vehicle kill is NOT a legal method of take in my state. At the annual fur sale, the attending warden overheard a trapper say he picked up a road killed bobcat. The Warden confiscated the cat and wrote the trapper a ticket. Be warned. Loose lips sink ships.

Then at the end of season we fill out a harvest report that includes road kills. Actually a state traffic officer pulled up in the opposite lane just as I was picking it up and was coming to a stop, When I pointed at my Minnesota trap line product's sweat shirt I was wearing and I got a smile and a thumbs up from him and off he went.

I’m sorry.. the devil made me say that

I dont wear any underwear.....or..
...write tickets for possession of road-kill bobcats. Possession of a road-killed bald eagle, maybe...

... well you’ll never cite me.... I only pick up the eagles with white feathers on their head ... I believe I’d just drive on by one that was completely bald lol

Roadhit otters are my favorite. They take a beating and still skin good.

Who comes up with these laws? So let a cat or whatever get smooshed to smithereens rather than remove it? .... brushgaurds , lonestar beer and high beams brought those laws about I imagine ... but animals don’t need to be loitering in roadways either... lol
