Another hunting season:


An Oklahoma State Representative filed a bill to establish a “Bigfoot hunting season” in the state, according to a statement.

House Bill 1648, written by Rep. Justin Humphrey, would have the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Division create rules that made annual dates for the hunting season and any “necessary specific hunting licenses and fees.”

In a press release, Humphrey said tourism is one of the biggest attractions in his district, so establishing an actual hunting season could draw more people to that part of the state.

This is pretty typical of the nonsense that comes out of our capital.

Well, at least its not gun registration, gun tax or ammo tax.

I wonder how many are going to take this as fact, and be out hunting for big foot, and shoot somebody turkey hunting, out of a deer stand or just shoot at anything that moves? Scary

No trapping season? They have enough hair to qualify as a furbearer!

In CO they sold a jackalope license years back they sold well looked official and all.

Wait , I though bigfoot already fell under " and any other unprotected species not mentioned"

Now that would take a lot of steel

They already have a Bigfoot festival down in southeast Oklahoma every year where people can go out on a "Bigfoot safari" now they can take thier guns along just in case.

No need for a squatch season in Missouri. It has been reported, that the last known squatch, has been terminated. It was shot during opening day of our firearms deer season, while feeding on the bloated carcass of a mastadon! The hunter was taken into custody, for using an extinct species for bait, within 1000 yds of his deer blind!
