Eight dollar a gallon gas would almost ensure the Republicans winning both houses in the mid-term election. Personally it's worth it.

The oil companies will find ways around it, they’ll get that oil. With the directional drilling they do now they don’t have to drill on federal land, they can drill the private land and get to oil from under the federal.

I find it pathetic that with just a couple of Executive Orders (stopping the XL Pipeline and halting drilling for oil in ANWR and on other federal lands) the "Working Man's Politician from Scranton" has singlehandedly killed thousands of good paying jobs. Ironically, the jobs of the very union workers that he claims to support so enthusiastically (when he needed their votes....)

Actually I think Biden probably would have allowed these union workers to continue to work...... but his HANDLERS obviously prioritize the Climate Change nonsense as being more important than American jobs.

There is only one reason Joe is doing this. Kamala told him she'd cut him off if he didn't. According to anonymous sources.

Democrats don't care about us trade craft unions anymore. There aren't enough members left.

Government unions and low pay service type is their focus.

It is not governments role to protect any class of workers. There would be no construction unions today without the Davis-Bacon Act

Do you think someone who voted for Biden when he said he was going to do these things will understand why gas went to $8?

Not yet but that’s irrelevant, they aren’t getting either house back.

It takes 2 years for a shale oil well to dry up. And remember OPEC is still cutting production. They will open there production up this Summer. We still have stock piles of oil too that has to be burn off before price get much higher too. I have spent 29 years in oilfield and that’s all my dad did growing up. 3 years from now when it going to shoot up. That is if the Covid crap stops soon.

you're looking at the resource itself. they could "carbon tax" it that high with a single vote...

(it's for "the Children")
